A week or so ago, I wrote about the problem with Sunday and said we need to have another day after Sunday so that Sunday can actually be a day of rest.

And here we are, the Sunday before Labor Day, which is a work holiday for much of the United States, and my hypothesis is confirmed. 7:42pm and the house is in a state of relaxation, baby. I’m blogging, my husband is working on fantasy football, and the kids are somewhere in the house doing kid things.

Next Sunday @ 7:42 pm there will be struggles over baths, nagging about packing lunches, grumping about getting kids to bed because someone has to get up early to commute to work, and general sorrow about the end of the weekend.

Goodbye, summer 2012. You were full of plot twists, but it was great to know you.
